Professional Teeth Whitening Faq’s

  • You may be a candidate for whitening if you have healthy teeth and gums, no crowns/veneers/fillings on front teeth (only natural teeth brighten), are over the age of 16 and are not pregnant or breast feeding.

    If you have heavy tartar built up or haven't seen a dental professional in a while, we may recommend a professional cleaning or a check up with a dentist prior to treatment!

  • Some people have tooth sensitivity during and shortly after bleaching. If you already have cold sensitive teeth we can discuss options that may still allow you to whiten your smile.

  • Everyone is different, some want to freshen their smile every 6mths and some are good for 2 years. It depends on your habits and the structure of your teeth. With take home bleaching you can do a touch up for 2-3 days for just the cost of the bleach refills. $30

  • That depends upon many factors including how white your teeth are to begin with and how porous they are. When we assess your teeth we may be able to give you a better idea of how they’ll whiten but we can’t guarantee a certain shade will be reached.

  • No as a general rule insurance companies will not cover bleaching. However, for those who have a health spending account, you may be able to submit your receipt on your own for reimbursement.
